Compliance built into the product
We encode the labour and payroll rules we ship against. You remain responsible for checking results before you pay.

WPS and MOHRE
WorkAlto builds Central Bank WPS SIF files from approved payroll runs so you can upload them to your bank or exchange. New hires are included from day one. Wage-share warnings help you spot runs that pay below the expected share of eligible wages.
Ministerial Resolution 340 of 2026
Salary timing follows MR 340/2026 (effective 1 June 2026): each entity has a salary due day (default the 1st after the pay period). The product warns owners and payroll 5 days before, 2 days before, and on the due date if the run is not approved or the SIF is not marked uploaded.
Gratuity rules
End-of-service gratuity is accrued monthly under the UAE labour law rules encoded in the product. UAE/GCC nationals follow pension paths instead of standard gratuity where applicable. Always verify edge cases with your adviser.
PDPL
Customer workspaces are separated by row-level security. Sensitive fields such as IBANs are encrypted at the application layer. Recruitment retention and candidate erasure follow PDPL-minded flows; customers remain the controller of employee personal data.
